Deadbeat Blogger

My name is Chook...and I'm a deadbeat blogger. It's hard for me to admit this to my many loyal readers... okay, maybe I don't have 'many' loyal readers, more like a few....okay, maybe not even a 'few' loyal readers, more like two (Susan and Rich). But, the first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. So, yes, I am a deadbeat blogger.
I have good intentions, I really do. I want to update my blog regularly like the 'normal' blogger's do. And every morning I say "today is the day I will update my blog." But as the day goes on, I start to convince myself that I should be doing other, more important tasks, which, of course, is just an excuse for my bad blogging behavior.
Maybe it stems from my childhood...maybe it's genetic...maybe I should enter a 12 step program...I just don't know. But, I will make a promise to all (two) of you now... I will update my blog at least once a week! I know what your thinking "yeah right!!! heard that before, more empty promises.. But this time it's gonna be different, I have lots of updates to tell you, I'm serious...you'll see...don't give up on me...give me one more chance, I'll change, I promise......

Chook,

My personal opinion is that your blog may not have lots of posts (well, really only 8 of them) but the posts that you have written are very witty, funny, sarcastic, irreverant, and entertaining. I like to compare a posting to a bottle of fine wine, it takes time to create, and should not be rushed. So please, do not feel pressured to keep to your promise of weekly postings, BUT you better be providing daily posts when you are over in Vietnam.
