So...yesterday wasn't a great day for us. I think traveling through multiple time zones finally caught up with us. I was feeling nauseous, unsteady on my feet, sort of 'out of it', and irritable. It was not fun!!!! We wanted to get out and do something though, so we went to the Museum of Ethnology in the morning. It was really interesting. We learned about all the different ethnic groups in Vietnam...so worth seeing. We came back to the room after that and kind of crashed. After a little rest, I felt better....however, poor Chrisfeeney started to feel crappy, ugh!!!
We also met 3 other families yesterday who are using the same agency. It was so nice to meet them and share our 'Vietnam experiences' so far. We also found out that our G&R will not be on Monday as we thought. We should find out this afternoon when we'll be able to travel to Lang Son to pick up baby Maeve. Hope everyone is well back in the homeland :)

I hope you have your G&R soon! Our baby turns 1 on Tuesday. How is the weather? I see you are wearing jeans and a jacket. How fun and rest while you are still a duo!
we went through the same thing, only 3 days after we arrived!!! if you feel like meeting up tonight we could come to you guys for drinks..or sparkling water..depending how you feel...wasn't the museum awesome?? the mock houses were fantastic!

We took pics of that same tall structure at the Museum of Ethno while we were there! Hope your G&R is soon. If you end up having to wait a few days (like we did!), just try to find a nice balance between seeing stuff and resting. Once the baby arrives, sleep is at a premium!

Chook- Hey the pics are great! Glad you and Chrisfeeney got there ok. You're lucky you are there- we got 6-7 inches of snow today here! Can you believe it? March 1st and snow! OMG- I'm ready for the beach! Take Care and keep us posted on the G&R!!

Chookie & Chris, there is not a day that goes by that we are not thinking about you and praying that all is going well in Vietnam. We can't wait to meet Maeve. In the meantime, please give her lots of hugs and kisses from her aunt, uncle and cousins! Talk to you soon!
